Bahar Yenerer

Ceren Kartari

Ceren Kartari is Head of Legal, Turkey and North Africa Area at British American Tobacco. Ceren has worked in various positions at British American Tobacco, initially joining the company as Trade Marketing Legal Counsel and then continuing as Marketing Legal Counsel. Following an assignment at the headquarters of British American Tobacco in London, where she served as Senior Engagement Manager for the EEMEA Region and gained experience in external and government affairs, she assumed her current position. Prior to beginning to work at BAT, Ceren was a Legal and Compliance Counsel at Mercedes-Benz Turk (a subsidiary of Daimler AG) where she became experienced in the areas of sales and marketing, competition, and FCPA Compliance. She started her legal career at White & Case, working in the international law firm's Ankara, Tokyo, and Istanbul offices. Ceren has a law degree from the University of Ankara and a Master’s Degree in International Business and Economic Law from the Kyushu University Graduate School of Law.

Eda Riehl

Eda Riehl is a Turkish qualified lawyer with a LL.M degree from the UK. She started her career at Turkish law firm Mehmet Gün & Partners within its corporate and dispute resolutions departments dealing with complex projects. Her first in-house role was as legal counsel at Media-Saturn Turkey. There, just after two years she was appointed to head of legal affairs and compliance officer, then to general counsel. Afterwards, she held the position of regional compliance director for T-MEA-CIS region at B/S/H/ Turkey. Now she is responsible for compliance in META region (GCC, Turkey, and Africa) at IT product distributor Ingram Micro and part of its regional management team.

Ishak Jonas Isik is General Counsel and Head of Legal at Siemens Turkey. Before assuming his current role, Ishak headed Siemens' Legal Projects team in the Middle East region from the company’s hub in the United Arab Emirates, and before that, he served as Vice-President Legal at Siemens’ Representation Office to the EU in Brussels. Kurtulus Caltekin is the General Counsel at Aviva SA Pension & Life Insurance Company, a joint investment of Sabanci Holding and British insurance giant Aviva plc. Nazli Dereli Oba

Nazli Dereli Oba has been the Legal Director of Karadeniz Holding A.S. ⎯ a company focused on generation of electricity through its Powerships ⎯ since 2012. She has been involved in the energy sector for more than ten years, and her work generally covers electricity generation and sale. She has been leading her company in a major investment arbitration against Pakistan since 2012 before ICSID and has also been engaged in various other commercial arbitrations in various jurisdictions. Prior to joining Karadeniz, Nazli was the Head of Legal at Enerjisa Enerji Uretim A.S. which is involved in generation of electricity through different types of power plants, including hydros and wind power and gas power plants, as well as the trading and distribution of electricity. In the early part of her career, she was legal counsel at Citibank A.S. and a legal consultant in the Banking and Finance team of the Herguner, Bilgen & Ozeke law firm. She holds an LL.M. degree in Banking and Finance Law from Queen Mary, University of Law, a post graduate degree from the College of Law, London, and a B.A. degree in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Seckin Savaser

Seza Ceren Aktas

Tolga Ismen

Tolga Ismen is the Chief Legal Counsel of Turkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari A.S., a leading global glass manufacturer, with 44 production facilities and five listed companies. From 1998 to 2016 Tolga practiced in several of Turkey's leading law firms, including for 13 years as the Managing Partner of the Ismen Law Firm. He was a founder of i-Wisdom, an UK-based LegalTech company, and he also acted as the CEO of CB Media, a movie and TV production company.
